There’s no denying the popularity of trophy trout, and I always thought the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission should tap into the hype and stock more of the big fish.
I really don’t believe that anglers on the first day of trout season or those lining the banks of the Lake Erie tributaries fishing for steelhead will appreciate being interrupted to pull out their wallet and prove they have a valid license.
Vintage makes such as Heddon, Rapala, Rebel and Arbogast are always popular, and those that date back to the 1920s sometimes command a premium.
